As the Associate Director of Course Building, Gina McMahon oversees this process and ensures that exam schedules comply with faculty senate rules while accommodating thousands of student registrations each term. 

 

The Challenge 

Before Infosilem, Binghamton’s final exam scheduling process was highly manual. The team relied on paper forms and Excel spreadsheets to collect, verify, and assign exam information. 

“We were manually inputting all of our data for final exams,” Gina explained. “It was a time-consuming process that extended how long it took for us to release the final exam schedule.
